Why This Could Be A Perfect Fit
We're looking for a talented, collaborative, creative and motivated Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying potential new clients, pitching our talents and services to them and maintaining strong relationships with industry contacts. The ideal candidate will create and apply an effective development strategy to grow our client base. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through forging strong relationships with brands and potential agency partners and creating a strong and steady pipeline of new business. You will identify and cultivate new revenue streams in various sectors including video production, experiential marketing and a variety of other multimedia productions.
You will be taking the lead on defining long-term strategic goals, building key client relationships, increasing brand awareness, identifying business opportunities and leading our financial growth. You will negotiate and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market landscape and key players. The individual must be an experienced business development professional and must have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to develop strong working relationships with brands and creative agencies.

Strategically plan and develop a consistent and robust pipeline of new business.
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Aggressively prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, leveraging relationships, or utilizing other strategic means of generating new business.
Promote the company's services and address or anticipate clients' objectives.
Work closely with the senior management team to develop targeted lists, marketing strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Establish strategic partnerships with agencies who contract out for the services that we provide.
Build a robust network of relationships with agencies and brands who are utilizing the services that we provide.
Attend industry functions, such as mixers and conferences, and always have the most up-to-date information on the market and creative trends, as well as brand and agency needs.
Maintain current forecasts of opportunities, and track deals as they close.
Shares timely information with relevant account lead and ensure smooth hand off of clients.
Maintain up to date knowledge of strategic partner's and potential client's processes, procedures, RFPs and budgets.
Help prepare sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate deals and contracts.
Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of outreach, meetings, events, and deals closed.
The team member we're looking for has...
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales for a creative agency or production company.
A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Film/Television production, or Marketing.
The ability to identify, develop, build, manage & deliver business development sales targets.
A demonstrated history of generating leads and converting those leads into sales.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Great listening skills and great persuasive communication skills.
Great follow up and follow through.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong selling and client presentation skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
An ambitious, self-starter mindset and a demeanor that's outgoing, resilient, and persistent.
An ability to think strategically and constantly create new ways to add value.
A demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work, and handle multiple tasks, frequently with short time-lines.
The ability to use the Google suite of products.
A strong understanding of social media and how to strategically leverage it for professional relationship building, building brand awareness, and staying on the pulse of industry trends.
Ability to travel 30% of the time.
