Vice President, Content Marketing
The Vice President, Content Marketing is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of multiplatform marketing campaigns leveraging content as the key asset. Seated at a cross-section of digital/social content and marketing teams, this integral role will forge new pathways for building awareness and driving conversion within WWE's content ecosystem, especially its OTT business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the creative, content-focused marketing strategy on WWE's ad-supported platforms to maximize organic traffic and conversion to WWE Network
• Devise and manage a calendar of new, recurring content campaigns of varying sizes and frequency, including specific initiative-based campaigns around tentpole events
• Leverage and collaborate with multi-departmental resources to guide and oversee execution of content productions
• Find opportunities to optimize parallel production within team and drive incremental conversion
• Track and exploit new features and products across platforms to create compelling, innovative content-oriented campaigns
• Analyze user and consumption data to maximize opportunities to convert
• Evaluate, generate and lead region-specific campaigns in priority markets
• Partner with Data Analytics division to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to demonstrate success
• Explore and employ a branded content approach to marketing WWE's content platforms and offerings
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in content marketing or social media marketing
• Influential thinker and impeccable communicator of ideas
• Proven track record in delivering success via organic content on social and digital platforms
• Passion for emerging media trends and technology, especially social platform products
• Deep understanding of digital and social media metrics
• Expert presentation skills
• Extraordinary project management capabilities
• Start-up mentality with the poise of seasoned media executive
• Familiarity with OTT media distribution preferred
• Working knowledge of topline video production tenets preferred
• Experience in executing successful branded content campaigns, a plus
• Knowledge of WWE TV shows, talent and storylines, a plus
