Social Media & Video Analyst (China)
The Social Media & Video Analyst, China is a full-time contractor responsible for reporting and data analytics across WWE's social media and digital video platforms including Weibo, WeChat, Youku, Tencent Video, Toutiao, etc. This role will dual-report to the WWE Advanced Media Group and Data Analytics teams. The role is responsible for collecting data from multiple sources (including posts and platform backends), presenting data in weekly formats to tell a story, and drawing actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
• Create, maintain, and analyze weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for social/digital platforms and WWE talents across China
• Support social media and digital video strategy/optimization by providing recommendations based on data analysis
• Experience using and managing Chinese social analytics tools
• Coordinate efforts between various local and US-based teams
• Manage relationships with analytics partners
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• 3+ years of direct experience in social media analytics for Chinese platforms including Microsoft Office and SQL; Google Analytics, Python, R, and/or Tableau - a plus
• Experience at an international brand or digital/social agency - a plus
• Passion for WWE, sports, and/or entertainment; strong knowledge of WWE brands, programming, and Superstars - a plus
• Detail-oriented with an analytical approach to achieving objectives
• Able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
