Title: Senior Manager, Sponsorship Strategy
The Sr. Manager, Sponsorship Strategy will be a key resource to the sales, marketing and account management teams, developing sponsorship strategies and programs to drive WWE's sponsorship sales and renewals. This professional will help to develop fully integrated sponsorship platforms, that include; ideation, insights, creative content, ownable assets and category exclusivity. This person will have an eye on revenue driving, best-in-class opportunities that utilize assets across the entire WWE ecosystem to create unique packages and offerings, including WWE live events, talent, signage, PPV, TV, and social/digital content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with leadership to drive strategy, insights, ideation and creative development of sponsorship opportunities and programs to grow WWE's revenue
• Drive optimization of internal and external research across Global Sales and Partnerships team to demonstrate partner value and improve asset utilization
• Create unique sales stories against specific brand and category targets in support of both sales and planning teams
• Develop creative sales collateral that leverages the full suite of sponsorship and cross-platform media assets and data to address partner marketing needs, leading to deeper integration and customer engagement
• Lead organization and tracking of Global Sales and Partnerships partner concepts and results to create holistic recommendations for improving WWE sales and execution strategies
• Identify and lead implementation of opportunities to streamline and enhance collaboration between execution, media, planning, creative and sales teams to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery of client needs
• Support International sales organization by leveraging internal data and external resources to contextualize WWE fan base in non-U.S. markets and improve monetization of Global assets
• Ideate and pitch creative and strategic marketing solutions to internal and external stakeholders
• Work with Sales, Partner Marketing and other key stakeholders to maintain accurate representation of potential sponsorship opportunities, and available inventory
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, preferably from a marketing, sponsorship or agency organization that works on major brands, market research, advertising, and sports/entertainment platforms
• Bachelor's Degree required; Masters or MBA strongly preferred
• Proven marketing leadership and experience in a growing and successful business environment
• Proven experience in understanding the relationship between brand marketing objectives and cross-platform media offerings needed to help drive & achieve a brand's business goals/results
• Experience with various market research tools and data with ability to translate that information into successful business narratives
• Demonstrated ability to create strategic plans with cross-functional peer involvement
• Experience generating creative marketing strategies and presentations for brand and media partners
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively with senior level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel domestically; approximately two times per month
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends as needed
• Passionate, driven, and personally accountable with a commanding presence and energy
