Program Director, Data Technology
The Program Director, Data Technology will be a member of the Data Technology team which is responsible for running WWE's Data management platform consisting of its Data lake, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Machine learning platforms. The Program Director will work closely with Data Technology, Data Analytics and other enterprise teams to deliver WWE's data strategy roadmap. They will be responsible for driving a data-driven culture at WWE, enabling and empowering teams to use data to drive business decisions as well as improve customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Run Large Enterprise Scale Scrum(LESS) for Data Technology Portfolio which comprises of Data Strategy Roadmap Phases, CDP and Foundational Tracks - Data Engineering, Business Intelligence/Advanced Engineering, Advanced Analytics/Data Science
• Conduct Sprint Rituals - Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Demo, PPP (Progress, Plans, Problems)
• Manage and Report Cross-functional Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies
• Drive Learning and Development opportunities for the team like Training, Lunch & Learns
• Conduct Squad Health Check and SWOT analysis regularly to identify continuous improvements opportunities within the Team
• Report & Communicate Data Technology Metrics of Data Quality, Data Privacy (GDPR/CCPA), Users Viewing Reports, Data Sources Ingested and Structured, Progress & Efficiency - Trending Sprint Velocity, Analytical Reports, Features Released, Backlog Maturity/Aging Tickets SLA scorecard and Squad Health Check to the Executive Stakeholders on a monthly basis
• Facilitate various centers of excellence for Advanced analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Operations
• Provide Thought Leadership in program management practices
• Manage the Data operations and special projects ticketing boards utilizing Jira
• Project Manage the rollout of Tools, technologies to Analytics team and end users
• Handle documentation of External Audit artifacts and Change Approval Board (CAB) Templates
• Manage Data Technology Portfolio - Scope, Timelines, Resources
• Identify and participate in process and system enhancements and implementation
• Assist in special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience in data engineering and analysis, visualization tools and program management
• Proficiency in implementing and running data programs in Agile Scrum and Kanban and Waterfall
• LESS, Scrum Master and PMP (PMI institute) certification a plus
• Good understanding of data, data models, relational databases, and various ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, DBT and BI tools like Tableau, Looker
• Success in leading large programs in the data engineering space
• Experience in applying agile practices to Data Science and Analytics teams
• Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize business situations down to their quantitative essence. Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally and present to all layers of management
• Exposure to AWS/GCP ecosystem such as Redshift, EMR
• Proficient in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence etc
• Awareness of knowledge management concepts
• Strong presentation and business story-telling skills
