Media Services Technician
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for management and archive of WWE video, audio and GFX assets in Interplay
• Provide service and support to the WWE Production department for all Media Services needs
• Support Media Services Department in ongoing data migration project
• Perform routine maintenance for Production groups in interplay, archiving projects as needed
• Scheduling project timetables
• Transfer and Transcode media to various destinations
• Provide media management services including storage management, media restores, and edit project management as needed
• Responsible for recurring deletions in Avid Interplay
• Transcode and move Network deliverables in a timely manner
• Support and assist Media Managers in their daily responsibilities
• Troubleshooting for digital archive Restores and Transcode requests
• Submit and monitor all TV Graphics and TV Post Audio project restore requests
• Maintain open line of communication between Archive, Media Management and Media Services
• Provide technical assistance for Avid editors and production staff
• Manage, service and troubleshoot shared Avid environment and other ancillary applications
• Establish collaborative relationships with WWE technical support personnel to ensure post-production systems are operating properly on a daily basis
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years media asset management experience
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable multitasking ability
• Able to function well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented, can quickly identify and properly handle issues
• Team player who is willing to pitch in wherever help is needed
• Avid and other non-linear editing platform experience required
• Knowledge of Transcoding solutions, codecs, file wrappers and framerate conversions
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to regularly work nights, weekends and holidays; accessible during off hours
• Proficiency in MS office and G-Suite a plus
