Marketing Manager, CRM - OPEN
Are you a driven marketer who strives from personalized messages based on data and segmentation? World Wrestling Entertainment is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager, CRM to share WWE news, live events information, partner promotions and more with our fans!
WWE creates brilliant content which connects with fans all over the world and we need your help to get the right content, to the right individual, at the right time, ensuring a premium digital experience for fans globally and increasing total customer value for the business.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Director of CRM Marketing to formulate an effective customer relationship management email strategy across numerous WWE business units.
• Own a business-wide CRM marketing calendar and act as the gatekeeper to all marketing requests that arise.
• Build daily B2C email templates within the CRM platform by utilizing HTML and drag and drop (or WYSIWYG) skills.
• Conduct thorough testing of e-mail templates, list segmentation, and UTM link creation before campaign execution.
• Execute SMS/MMS message campaigns within the CRM platform to our millions of fans.
• Segment groups effectively and efficiently in order to send the right message to the right audience.
• Work with the Director of CRM on a fan journey map ensuring that our fans are receiving the most relevant content in a timely and effective manner.
• Create recency, frequency, monetary segmentation frameworks for ongoing audience maturity and lifetime value.
• With Product and Data & Analytics, develop new data and creative growth strategies e.g., CDP for loyalty, cross sell and upsell.
• Create systems to continuously improve the iteration and performance of messages.
• Ensure efficiency and professionalism when launching domestic and international partner campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal creative services team for artwork and other creative materials.
• Collaborate with wider stakeholders - marketing operations, brand, creative, retail, SEO, Paid, E-commerce, BI, Analytics, Digital product, buying and merchandising teams to collaborate on broader projects, build seasonal plans, set budgets, KPIs and forecasted deliverables against media spend.
• Create RFM segmentation frameworks for ongoing audience maturity and LTV.
• Plan, execute and optimize all owned digital conversion architecture reporting against key metrics.
• Work with the Creative & Partnerships team on launches e.g. talent signings or new platforms / partnerships and establish a 'go to market' marketing plan for CRM.
• Analyze campaign performance across channel mix and optimize to meet agreed targets.
Useful knowledge, skills, and experience
• 8-10 years' experience with large CRM customer databases. WWE uses Braze for multi-channel marketing, but equivalent experience using another CRM software is also a plus.
• Highly experienced in marketing CRM with a strong understanding of one-to-one communication strategies and marketing automation.
• Strong expertise working within a Customer Data Platform in order to increase lifetime value and create unique, personalized experiences for our audience.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders across a fast moving, multi-faceted organization.
• Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS is a plus.
• A strong understanding of how to use insight, segmentation and targeting to drive relevance and improve performance.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clear & knowledgeable digital strategic thinking that inspires innovative & effective work.
• Understanding of tools and techniques used in marketing and audience development.
• An eye for quality and experience working with creative teams is a must.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Analytical in approach to performance of the various marketing channels that send campaigns through the CRM.
• Well-organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Experience of the Sports Entertainment / Media industry is desirable but not essential.
