Full Time Job
Responsible for the development and implementation of year round strength and conditioning programs for all WWE NXT talent based at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Work collaboratively with WWE MD's, PT's, ATC's, RD and coaching staff for optimal results.
Position responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strength and conditioning training programs for all WWE NXT talent from a variety of backgrounds and experience
• Year round programming of strength and power training, movement sessions to include speed and acceleration, and pre-gen/regeneration to maximize talent goals and health
• Stay up to date with latest trends in performance and sports science testing protocols
• Work in cooperation with the sports medicine/athletic training staff in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes
• Assist the performance team with daily activities including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating talent, and program design
• Support the Head of S&C with all performance related initiatives, S&C department philosophy and day to day operations
• Instruct, motivate, and assist talent in a safe and ethical manner to achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with all team members at the Performance Center including nutrition, medical and in-ring coaches.
• Willing to travel as needed to support shows, tryouts, combines, etc
• Attend weekly meetings with the performance and coaching team focused on a wholistic approach to talent support
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes
• Promote a diverse and inclusive environment
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum of three (3) years as a strength and conditioning coach with experience developing training programs and implementing strength and speed/agility training
• BA/BS in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related degree (Master's Degree preferred)
• Current industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
• Experience with collegiate or professional strength and conditioning
• Strong organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• CPR/First Aid certification
