Live Event Marketing Manager, Northeast
Job description for Review:
This opportunity manages all aspects of marketing, sales, and PR for approximately 30-40 events annually. This position is based at WWE's global headquarters in Stamford, CT, entails travel to WWE events and reports to the Director of Live Events, Northeast.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promoter lead for assigned WWE live events taking place in the US & Canada.
• Develop a media/advertising campaign and strategy based upon assigned budgets
• Work with internal departments, including PR, Marketing, and Data Analytics concerning different strategies for promoting events
• Develop a true understanding of assigned markets, their spending habits, daily trends, and demographic breakdown
• Develop strong relationships with local partners from the venues, media, sponsors, retailers and local professional sports teams
• Generate a true understanding of each market, their spending habits, daily trends, and demographic break down
• Develop ticket scaling, pricing plans and actively manage ticket inventory for events
• Talent management & escort on media days, promotional appearances, and third-party appearances
• Serve as accountable WWE representative onsite at all assigned events
• Ultimate goal is to provide the best experience for our fans; before, during, and after each event
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in live entertainment industry experience, preferably live shows/tours or venue management
• Live event marketing/promotions and/or box office/ticketing experience
• Able to adjust and adapt to varying changes in your markets/region
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays
• Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time
• Bachelor's Degree
