We are looking for a motivated Live Events summer intern that will apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. This experience will go beyond the assigned internship position and include formal, ongoing training and development opportunities, structured performance evaluations, networking, site tours and community involvement opportunities to further your development. Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
The Intern for Live Events Marketing will have an opportunity to work with one of the key leadership teams of an entrepreneurial and vibrant entertainment company. You will be working on a team that conducts over 570 live events all over the world. The internship will give you an opportunity to partner with Local, Regional, and International team members on projects that address strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives. You will assist in identifying opportunities that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and be involved in the development, testing, execution and tracking of various initiatives.
• Help turn concepts and ideas into Live Event strategies/opportunities.
• Gain a deeper understanding of Live Event philosophies inclusive of routing, promotion, event management, marketing, finance, creative, data trends and analytical reporting.
• Seek leadership opportunities that challenge current personal capabilities.
• Work directly with Live Event team members to execute all aspects of event marketing logistics.
• Assist with updating event information in real-time across multiple platforms including social, digital, and internal systems (LES).
• Manage Live Event reporting and tracking systems, inclusive of data entry/extraction and creative assets.
• Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and track deliverables to ensure goals are met on time.
• Organize data, develop insights and deliver findings to teams.
• Support administrative tasks as needed.
• Keep current with WWE programming and storylines.
• Work (1) local WWE Live Event.
We are looking for:
• Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management or related major
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience a plus
• Excellent knowledge of digital and social media platforms
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Ability to work in Stamford, CT headquarters from June 3rd – August 7th
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate within teams
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
