Live Event Marketing Manager, Midwest
Live Event Marketing Manager, Midwest – is a work from home role that will manage all aspects of marketing, sales, and public relations for approximately 30-40 events annually in the Midwest portion of the United States and central Canada.
Job description for Review:
This opportunity manages all aspects of marketing, sales, and PR for approximately 40 events annually. This position is a work from home position that entails, travel to events and bi-annual weeks working at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT reporting directly to the Director of the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide scaling and ticket pricing for events
• Develop a media/advertising campaign and strategy based upon assigned budgets
• Work with internal departments, including PR and Marketing, concerning different strategies for promoting events
• Work to build relationships in the market with the key decision makers and partners in the business/governmental communities
• Develop strong relationships with these local partners in all aspects to create ties with local sponsors and retailers
• Generate a true understanding of each market and their spending habits, daily trends, and demographic break down
• Work with Creative Services, as well as TV/Digital and radio spot producers to develop a custom creative strategy in each market
• Create and analyze various reports on event sales and trends
• Serve as accountable WWE representative onsite at events
• Ultimate goal is to provide the best experience for our fans; before, during, and after each event
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in live entertainment industry experience, preferably live shows/tours or venue management
• Live event marketing/promotions and/or box office/ticketing experience
• Able to adjust and adapt to varying changes in your markets/region
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays
• Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time
• Bachelor's Degree
