We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Manager, IT Strategy, Transformation & Transformation to support the SVP in driving strategic initiatives across Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures, IT Governance, and IT Operations. The ideal candidate will excel in data analysis, executive-level presentations, and managing critical IT information and artifacts for the leadership team. This role requires exceptional business acumen, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Role and What You'll Do:
Job Title: Manager, IT Strategy, Transformation & Operations
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Analysis & Planning:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and their potential impact on IT strategy.
• Analyze industry trends and best practices relevant to IT.
• Contribute to the development of long-term IT roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities related to IT initiatives.
• Support the development of business cases for new IT investments.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Accountable for all financial budgeting, and forecasting for IT operations.
• Perform in-depth analysis of IT data (e.g., financial, operational, performance) to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key IT metrics and performance indicators.
• Perform in-depth resource and spend analysis to help IT leaders make strategic decisions.
• Support third-party spend management, including vendor contracts and negotiations.
• Manage IT asset lifecycles and ensure optimal utilization.
3. Project & Portfolio Management:
• Accountable for managing the monthly IT project portfolio and initiatives meeting and ensuring all project status, business outcomes and financials are accurately reported.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments.
• Participate in project greenlighting meetings and provide input on project feasibility and viability.
• Track project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and escalate potential risks and issues.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Management:
• Prepare high-quality presentations for senior executives, synthesizing complex information into clear, actionable insights and executive summaries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Effectively communicate complex technical and business information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. IT Governance & Operations:
• Support IT governance processes and compliance tracking.
• Contribute to the refinement and improvement of IT operational processes.
• Organize and maintain IT information, presentations, and templates for the IT leadership team.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and professionally formatted.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, finance, or strategy-related roles.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, macros).
• Proficiency in creating professional presentations using PowerPoint (including data visualization, animations, and effective storytelling).
• Accounting or FP&A experience is a plus
• Project Management certifications / designations is a plus
