This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
WWE is seeking an ambitious Production Intern to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced organization with one of the most followed and influential brands in the world! WWE is a publicly traded company (NYSE: WWE), multi-faceted media organization, and recognized leader in global entertainment. The company consists of a portfolio of businesses that create and deliver original content 52 weeks a year to a global audience.
This position will support the Alternative Content team which produces a significant amount of original content across various mediums including documentaries, talk shows, clip shows, video podcasts and more. Throughout the program, you will work on projects with a multi-national reach across various business units. In addition to acquiring meaningful work experience in your field of study, Interns at WWE will participate in engaging events crafted to deepen your understanding of WWE and focus on professional development!
Key Learning Opportunities:
• Assist Producers and Associate Producers in the day-to-day operations in the field producing WWE Talent for content creation
• Collaborates with team members, getting direct feedback and mentorship from our Production professionals
• Participate in screenings of various stages of rough cuts, and provide input during team discussions
• Editing short-form and long-form original video content for a variety of WWE content platforms
• Log talent interviews, shows and various media library assets, as well as prepare music cue sheets for various WWE productions
Fall Internship Program Requirements:
• Current Sophomore or Junior actively pursuing a degree in TV or Film Communications (or similar program) at an accredited college or university
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Proven leadership in academics, community service and/or extra-curricular activities
• Ability to commit to 20 hrs/week on-site in Stamford, CT
• Functional knowledge in both field and post-production work
• Passion for story-telling and strong editing skills
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Exposure to working in a production studio, and handling camera equipment appropriately
• Non-linear editing experience with Avid Media Composer, and familiarity with Adobe After Effects
• Agile and effective communication style
• Confidence in ability to run with a task or idea
• WWE product knowledge
