Department

The Live Events department at WWE conducts hundreds of live events all around the world.

Position Summary

WWE is looking for a motivated Live Events Summer Intern that will apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. Throughout the program, you will work on projects with a global reach across various business units.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Live Event team members to execute all aspects of event marketing logistics
• Partner with Local, Regional, and International team members on projects that address strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives.
• Work with the team to identify opportunities that improve the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Be involved in the development, testing, execution, and tracking of various initiatives.
• Assist with updating event information in real-time across multiple platforms including social, digital, and internal reporting systems
• Manage Live Event reporting and tracking systems, inclusive of data entry/extraction
• Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and track deliverables to ensure goals are met on time
• Utilize Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator)

Qualifications

• Business degree and marketing major, or relevant
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Demonstrated leadership in academics, community service and/or extra-curricular activities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within teams.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Program Details

All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.

Our program will include a welcome event, speaker series, career planning sessions, and other events throughout the 12 weeks you're with us.

Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted.

Important Dates
• Early April: Recruiters review applications and reaching out to candidates.
• April 12th: Applications close.
• April 29th: Roles filled on a rolling basis, with the goal of extending all offers by this date.
• May 20th: Internship starts.
• August 9th: Internship ends.

Recruitment Process

Our process consists of 3 steps.

1. Video Interview with a Recruiter. If selected for next steps, you will be contacted by the recruiting team to schedule a 30- minute video interview.

2. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager. If selected to move forward, you will meet with the hiring manager and potentially 1-2 additional team members.

3. Offer or Decline. If selected for the position, a recruiter will call to extend an offer. If you have not been selected, a recruiter will reach out to let you know.
