The Senior Marketing Manager will act as the Head of Marketing GSA and will be a key member of the WWE European Marketing and Communications team. This role will create and execute country specific brand campaigns and develop and implement highly effective online marketing and promotional strategies for all lines of business including TV, WWE Network, Consumer Products/Licensing, Live Events and Digital. The role is hands-on and requires consistent delivery against measurable brand metrics as well as growing the company's social media footprint and fan engagement. Key markets are: Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as developing markets. This role reports into the GM Europe and has a dotted line into the global VP Marketing in the US.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement marketing and brand strategies across multiple platforms
• Develop brand strategies and action plans for individual European key markets based on business strategies and research
• Manage Marketing partnerships with TV partners
• Supervise and manage given media budget running campaigns on TV and social
• Support network affiliates on marketing and Live Events
• Develop performance based organic and pushed SOM campaigns
• Brand management and collaboration with our social media and editorial team
• Support the acquisition of sponsorship partners
• Promotion of Live Events on multiple platforms
• Support PR strategies in GSA with PR agencies
• Prepare internal marketing reports and updates, conduct analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts and maintain and increase market intelligence on WWE fan base
• Leverage live events in markets to build brand and extend our fanbase
• Deliver against a set of measurable brand metrics including, awareness, image and the social media footprint and the consumer database
• For specific markets provide guidance to implement and activate local marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of Brand Marketing experience in Europe with a track record in TV or entertainment, digital and/or related agency experience
• Solid knowledge of cross platform; digital and social media
• Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation), interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Team player
• Proven ability to execute large volumes of diverse work across multiple platforms
• Demonstrated experience in executing marketing and live events campaigns
• Solid industry network contacts; well versed in recognizing and knowing consumer/brand/media trends
• Prepared to travel regularly with a ''hands on'' working style
• English, German or any additional language is an asset
• Profound knowledge of the German and at least one other European market
