Director, Global Media Partnerships
Role Summary:
WWE is seeking a savvy, hands-on Director of Global Media Partnerships. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day interactions with WWE's largest media partners and supporting the VP, Global Media Partnerships in managing the global portfolio of media partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the day-to-day interactions of key media partners with WWE to support partner in driving the monetization of their WWE rights
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders within partner organization
• Interact collaboratively within the organization at all levels to share information, transact business agreements, and improve cross-departmental process
• Manage relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders across WWE's media partners
• Understand WWE capabilities and accurately articulate the value of WWE sponsorship and media propositions to support co-sell opportunities with partners
• Support media partners with creative cross-selling, ideation, and use of data and analytics
• Coordinate and integrate media strategy across WWE teams and departments, while supporting approval and execution of media partner initiatives involving WWE
• Collaborate with leadership in WWE's international offices to manage international media partner relationships and support partners' ad sales efforts
• Understand marketing needs and business models of sponsorship/advertising buyers to support advertising and sponsorship sales and facilitate program delivery
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of partnership management or marketing experience, with accountability for partnership management and integrated sponsorships
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of the global media landscape including industry trends, key players, terminology, and overall knowledge of the advertising and sponsorship landscape
• Solution-orientation with passion for working across organizations and geographies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Ability to manage within a complex corporate matrix with many internal stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in Stamford (CT) and New York City
• Willing and able to travel for business (~15%) and work a flexible schedule
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
