Full Time Job
Director of Fan Analytics and performance will be responsible for providing robust, in-depth, quantitative analyses focused on business needs and driving growth across several WWE lines of business and fan engagement domains. S/he will provide expertise for implementing, developing, and enhancing WWE's analytics capabilities including driving the forward-looking features, functions, and solutions necessary to deliver the analysis and insights required for evolving business needs. This position reports to the VP of Fan/Marketing Analytics and will assist him in leading business executives and users to leverage insights and adopt best practices for insight/data management processes and data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with VP of fan/marketing analytics to deliver to deliver analytical and reporting insights to business stakeholders including the CMO and CFO organizations
• Lead a team of scientists and analysis with responsibilities for coaching and managing these resources
• Work with business stakeholders to define and prioritize their analytical needs and requests and create decision models, dashboards and scorecards to address these needs
• Drive implementation and adoption of new analytics initiatives both conceptually and in the fulfillment of critical tools and processes such as forecasting of digital subscriptions churn and acquisitions, fan segmentation, customer lifetime value or next best action/offer recommendations
• Manage the full analytical project lifecycle from concept to delivery, connecting analytical insights with business objectives of initiatives and campaigns
• Help defining customer/fan KPIs and operational metrics for lines of business. Report on performance trends and drivers of growth in each area (e.g., international markets, customer LTV, subscription trends)
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop business/marketing tools and plans such as decision models, dashboards and scorecards
• Drive implementation and adoption of new analytics initiatives both conceptually and in the fulfillment of critical tools and processes such as forecasting of digital subscriptions churn and acquisitions, fan segmentation, customer lifetime value or next best action/offer recommendations
• Manage the full analytical project lifecycle from concept to delivery, connecting analytical insights with business objectives of initiatives and campaigns
• Execute projects related to the capture of new/additional data required by the business and partnering with technology stakeholders on data due diligence, capture business process changes, scoping data feeds and data modeling and augmenting analytical and reporting layer.
• Build on existing data analytics processes and plans to implement long-term organizational analytics and data management roadmap
Qualifications:
• 7 years of professional experience in corporate analytics-related roles
• TV, Entertainment, Media, or Sports industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with digital subscription business desired
• Proven experience in building analytics function/capabilities including staff, tools, and processes
• Working knowledge of CRM processes and technologies, experience with MMM/MROI a plus
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and communicate relevant insights and recommendations using data visualization
• Thorough understanding of traditional as well as big data/machine learning analytical methods and approaches and how they can be deployed to drive value within a digital (subscription) business
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical techniques to business problems and to leverage machine learning and predictive analytics
• Required analytical/technical skills:
• Experience with statistical toolsets such as R or SAS
• Experience with application programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and reporting APIs
• Experience working with big data platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Spark, Qubole)
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, Qlik)
• Demonstrated team leading, project management, planning and delegating skills
• Strong organizational, communications (verbal & written), presentation, and time management skills
• Self-motivated with a ''roll up your sleeves'' work style and great interpersonal skills
• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Math, Statistics, etc.)
Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field of study preferred
