Job Summary
Reporting to Senior Director of Podcasts in the Advanced Media Group, and working closely with the Senior Podcast Producer, the Digital Video Producer/Editor will be responsible for driving fan awareness across digital and social platforms for WWE Podcasts. This creative and self-efficient team member will manage all aspects of production and post-production to support the WWE Podcast Network.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop compelling video elements that promote podcast awareness and listening
• Shoot, edit, produce and publish both short-form and long-form video content both in studio and on the road to be released across WWE Digital and social platforms
• Collaborate with Senior Podcast Producer to ensure audio-only and video content aligns well
• Oversee talent booking and conduct pre-interviews with WWE Superstars (when necessary)
• Set up, frame and trouble-shoot Skype video calls
• Work with digital video and social teams on content scheduling strategies, and organizing support from the main social accounts
• Manage and conduct quality control in all phases of production and post-production
• Responsible for delivering both raw and edited media to central ingest for archiving
• Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands and products
• Remain informed and familiar with social/digital content trends
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of related work experience in TV/digital/post-production
• 3+ years of editing experience with applications such as Avid, Final Cut Pro and Adobe
• 3+ years of experience in field production, managing a video/film shoot and producing/directing on-air talent
• Experience in shooting with professional and consumer cameras a plus
• Strong knowledge of digital and social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat) and how to apply video
• Willing and able to travel and work weekends
• WWE product knowledge highly preferred
• Capable of handling and organizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven track record of creative and innovative thinking, effective storytelling, action and results
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, ever-changing environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for emerging media trends and technology
• Interest in pop culture
