WWE has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager for the Consumer Products group. Reporting to the Vice President of Interactive Media Licensing, the CPG Product Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of key marketing initiatives for WWE licensed products, primarily for Home Entertainment and Video Games and some cross-category opportunities in Toys and Apparel. The CPG Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Product team, Domestic and International Licensing teams, and cross-functional groups such as Marketing/PR, Digital, and International.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate marketing activities, including product positioning, creative development (packaging, advertising creative, website), media strategy, online community development, and promotions
• Work closely with product development to gain in-depth product knowledge to support sell-in initiatives and maximize lifecycle profitability
• Maintain an integrated Consumer Products marketing calendar (both consumer and trade) and draft marketing sell-sheets, product synopses, and metadata for new releases
• Facilitate delivery and approval of all marketing materials with internal/external stakeholders to ensure that all CPG marketing efforts are consistent with WWE brand guidelines
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity and analyze sales and market data to determine demand generation opportunities
• Partner with corporate Marketing and Communications teams to ensure alignment across Media, PR, Creative, etc.
• Collaborate with Vice President, Retail Development and Global Licensing partners to execute retail strategies and product sell-through via key retail channels
• Develop strong internal relationships and partnerships throughout WWE to maximize cross-promotional opportunities
• Liaise with Vice President, International Marketing and Regional CPG Directors to ensure that territory marketing strategies are fully integrated
Qualifications:
• 3 years related Marketing experience with/for an Entertainment company
• Experience developing multi-platform D2C marketing plans
• International/multicultural experience a plus
• Familiarity with the Consumer Products industry a plus
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Proactive self-starter and problem-solver
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and dynamic work environment
• Skilled at juggling various responsibilities; willing and able to take a hands-on approach
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and presentation skills
• Able to communicate effectively and tactfully with colleagues, vendors, licensees, and other levels of personnel
• Team player who can also function well independently
• Experience coordinating across multiple territories
• BA/BS degree required (Marketing or Business degree preferred)
