Full Time Job
The Compensation Analyst will assist in the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs in accordance with guidelines and policies. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. The position will report to the Manager, Compensation.
Essential Functions
Conduct internal and external job analysis and evaluation Assists with analytical projects including year-end compensation cycle and incentive accruals. Complete salary survey submission process and evaluate custom / ad-hoc survey participation. Review survey results and proactively provide market trends or insights for further incorporation into compensation philosophy. Manages the administration of compensation, including the processing, recording and reporting of compensation-related actions. Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting compensation related data. Assist in creation of formalized salary and job grading structures. Work with internal Recruiters on salary ranges given the requirements and specifications for the positions Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years in Compensation
• Knowledge of compensation principles, programs and practices.
• Ability to translate raw data into appropriate guidance and business recommendations
• Comfortable with role ambiguity
• Bachelor's degree required
Skills
• Integrity and discretion in handling protected and confidential data.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge of excel required including development of spreadsheets with formulas functions, pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with Workday preferred.
• Experience with compensation tools like salary.com, payscale etc. preferred
