Job Summary The Associate Post Production Engineer will support production by setting up, operating, and maintaining a wide variety of post-production equipment. This role involves working with the post-production engineering team, supporting and maintaining the post-production facility, providing first-level support for Post Production systems, hands-on implementation of new projects, and maintaining technical records.
Required Previous Experience 1+ years of experience in a Post Production or Broadcast facility or equivalent experience.

Role
The Associate Post Production Engineer will have involvement in all aspects of supporting production including setup, operation, and maintenance of a wide variety of post-production equipment.
We are seeking highly motivated, adaptable, team players that thrive under pressure and are prepared to do what it takes to get the job done.
This position requires being available to work off hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Work as a key member of the post-production engineering team supporting the day-to-day production of WWE content.
• Support and maintain a post-production facility including corrective and scheduled maintenance for all equipment.
• Provide first-level support for Post Production systems including Avid and Adobe editing environments, 2D & 3D graphics applications, backup/archive systems, network & storage infrastructure.
• Hands-on implementation of new projects including the racking and cabling of equipment.
• Document workflows and technical procedures.
• Maintain technical records of systems, software, and infrastructure.
Skills and Attributes
• 1+ years of experience in a Post Production or Broadcast facility or equivalent experience.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to distill complex technical solutions for non-technical end users.
• Enthusiastic about troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and figuring out how things work.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently, yet strong collaboration skills are required.
• Must be able to prioritize and be a proactive thinker.
• Willing to work flexible hours (we support a 365, 24/7 business).
• Knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, Deadline is a plus.

• An understanding of video and audio codecs and digital file workflows is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and TV engineering drawing standards a plus.
