FMG is seeking a seasoned Director, Integrated Marketing to oversee the development of integrated marketing initiatives across revenue categories for Fairchild Media Group including, WWD, Beauty Inc, Footwear News, Sourcing Journal, Rivet, Fairchild Live, and Fairchild Studio. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in brand storytelling, proposal writing, project management and digital media along with a deep knowledge and interest in B2B marketing, live events, custom content and news media, who thrives in a busy, collaborative news environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the pre-sale process for FMG Marketing including the development, creation and management of presentations, proposals and marketing materials designed to amplify the FMG mission and resonate with brand partners to drive revenue
• Spearhead the execution of general and category presentations in partnership with Ad Sales team for FMG brand titles
• Collaborate with marketing team category specialists to create custom proposals across fashion, beauty, footwear, retail, tech, finance, sourcing tentpoles and more
• Ideate with ad sales, marketing, and events teams to ideate and brainstorm creative ideas based on FMG client needs, meetings, and the RFP process
• Analyze trends and marketplace innovations to ensure FMG programming is forward thinking and ahead of the industry curve
• Partner with VP Marketing on go to market strategy and messaging that delivers on brand narrative for all materials
• Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, events, studio, programming and editorial to ensure all materials include innovative concepts that resonate with audience
• Partner with marketing and sales mgmt. to ensure proposal pricing is in line with revenue objectives
• Evangelize new programs and updates with FMG team and mgmt. in regular team meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed on the most recent strategies and concepts
Requirements:
• 7-10 years’ experience in integrated marketing at a media company
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, as well as strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong project and process management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Creative thinker with industry knowledge
• Attention to detail in a busy work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• This is a hybrid position and includes 3 days in office
Typical wage range: $120k – 150k
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits. PMC is committed to the health and wellness of our employees. As part of our company-wide rollout of PMC’s paid healthcare plan, for this role the company pays 100% of the monthly health, dental and vision plan premiums for the employee and their family.
