EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, REPORTER
WVLA is looking for someone to fill the role of Executive Producer, Reporter.
This person will report to the News Director and help with the overall news content and brand expectations. The Executive Producer, Reporter will also assist News Director in overseeing websites and social media for the newsroom.
The right candidate will also be able to handle scheduling duties and working on special projects.
The Executive Producer, Reporter will also help News Director with news content and issues pertaining to other properties for which WVLA outsources news.
This person should be a take-charge leader in the newsroom, and should have experience leading a team of talented journalists. A person with on-air and executive producing experience is ideal - as we all wear many hats in our newsroom.
This is not a job for beginners. Should have no less than 2 years' experience in newsroom management. Must excel at live newscast producing and working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. College degree required.
