Position Summary:
The intern would be involved in the day to day operations of transitioning the dispersed WTA media archive into a single fully functional Digital Asset Management System. The position will evolve over the internship to best suit the needs of the WTA's content management initiatives. This internship will be paid minimum wage and is expected to last for approximately 3-4 months at 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Inventory the media assets within the WTA archive
Uploading and tagging content with appropriate metadata tags to facilitate in a robust searching tool for stakeholders
Following procedures for populating DAM systems
Working to improve upon workflows and efficiencies within the process
Adhering to security and permissions protocol for all digital assets
Willingness to think outside the box to improve upon the current system
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in broadcasting, information technology, sports management, library science, or a similar field preferred
Basic understanding of media library operations
Comfortable working in XML using Visual Studio and other tools
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for and understanding of the sport of tennis: player, tournaments, game play, etc.
Meticulous, with a strong ability to focus on details in videos and images
Ability to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure and drive projects
Excellent analytic and organizational skills
