Ideal candidates should be either may be currently enrolled in a college/university program (school credit available), recent graduates, or individuals looking for Professional Internships opportunities.
HOWEVER, we do have professional credited positions that open up within the company in our General/Stage Management & Directing & Design areas.
We are looking for our new colleagues to begin immediately, with opportunities extending beyond. Be prepared to work between 15-20 hours each week; we will work with you to set your schedule. Please note that our planned shows are on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays (when NYC allows us to continue our Off-Broadway Production Schedule) and applicants will be required to work at least some of these productions FOH and Backstage. At this time, Entertainment Mentors will be set-up for our current structure to mitigate information and updates for our cast members and patron subscribers. Some remote opportunities available but very limited.
If you have the means and are still interested in working full-time, 35 hours a week, on a very small stipend basis with our staff, you will be afforded more responsibilities, professional credits and real-on-the job-training. These positions DO NOT start immediately but earned over the course of the program.
We will discuss how we can take care of basic work-related travel from Port Authority NYC to NJ ONLY (approx $7.50 per round trip) and meals provided from our kitchen - All other travel arrangements must be paid by the interns example - NJ Transit, LIRR, Metro, tolls etc... If you are not a resident of NYC or commuter or not able to find your own board/housing, we will not be able to pay for these items.
Please send your resume in the body of the email and as a PDF or Word attachment, along with a brief note about yourself and why you want to work in the entertainment industry. Humorous and heartfelt responses are especially appreciated. We want to get to know you, your experiences, and what you hope to get out of your time with our company!
Only the hearty need apply - with a sense of style and some panache!
