The World Poker Tour Associate Media Director is highly proactive and takes initiative. This individual works both independently with minimal supervision and collaborates as part of the Studios team. This individual is innovative and targets marketing solutions across a variety of media, while executing media plans, building out capabilities decks, and leads advertising sales for studios. You will Partner with internal business units and create promotional plans and templates for editorial and tentpole initiatives, and track revenue and marketing goals. This individual will create process improvements that eliminate bottlenecks (streamlined reports, resources, etc.) and offer well thought out solutions. This role reports to the VP of studios and handles any and all ad-hoc requests in a timely, efficient manner. The Associate Media Director is the primary point of contact for all account planning and sales efforts.
This is a full-time role with a salary of $80K-$100K with commissions dependent on experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Client Management:
• Establish a client and account list and target accounts and outreach
• Collaborate with the Director and VP of Studios, heading up sales solutions and pitch materials
• Work with VP of Partnerships to ensure consistent brand identity and high- quality client deliverables
• Maintain client relationships and championing our product to proactively provide industry partners insight on available opportunities
• Ideating, identifying and creating new ad units to sell while being the voice and lead on strategic activations and measure execution
• Confidently present and communicate all ideas to internal teams and serve as conduit for strategic leadership to both senior level and junior counterparts
• Create plans and templates for editorial and tentpole initiatives, as well as track sell through and revenue goals
Internal Marketing Campaigns:
• Provide business solutions through media plans for internal purposes
• Interface with internal business units to create editorial calendar and create a marketing plan
• Create reports to measure ROI and actionable items for the sole purpose to market internal product
• Create strategic media solutions that grow our brand and ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation, ensuring a fully integrated approach
Account Management:
• Oversee all client requests, troubleshoot and problem solve with internal teams to proactively provide solutions leading and recommending investment teams to ensure successful campaign execution, issue plan and ensure all billing and financial deliverables are accounted, accurate and delivered on time
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of agency and client experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and high- volume sales and client servicing role within the entertainment industry, QSR, Automotive with some analytical responsibilities
• 2+ years of experience and strong understanding of the OTT/streaming ecosystem from playout to monetization and programmatic advertising
• A strong writer, presenter and communicator; able to confidently present and sell through ideas both internally and to clients
• A team player, providing and receiving constructive feedback
• A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions, with flexibility with ability to oversee multiple deliverables and client requests
• Must be excellent and proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software is mandatory, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
• Candidates must be motivated, extremely organized and detail oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality for highly sensitive materials and details is key
• Strong follow through and able to anticipate issues before they arise
• Ability to multitask and juggle many competing priorities efficiently
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Ability to create equally strong working relationships in both remote and in-person environments
• Must be willing submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
*Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed part-time from a World Poker Tour-designated worksite
