Fall Intern - TV Marketing Post-Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

What part will you play?

This position is responsible for assisting the editors and producers in all aspects of post-production. The TV Marketing Post-Production Intern will get to work on promos, sizzle reels, trailers and sales presentations for Warner Bros. TV shows and movies. Worldwide TV Marketing has 12 Avid Edit Bays, 6 Graphics Bays, 8 Dig Stations, over 20 Producer Workstations, Avid Interplay, and a greenscreen Insert Stage. The Intern's Tasks may include:
• Simple editing on Avid Media Composer
• Viewing footage and pulling sub-clips / selects
• Searching for Music & Sound Effect in Soundminer
• Creating and organizing Avid Media Composer projects
• Assisting on Video Shoots
• Assisting at Audio Mix Sessions
• Digitizing / Importing / Transcoding Footage
• Working with Avid Interplay / Nitris / Access
• Creating tape logs, video reports, and transcribing final scripts
• Creating music reports to submit to music houses
• Coordinating tapes / files to be ingested into Avid Media Composer
• Editing / Writing a TV promo on their own by the end of the semester

What do we require from you?
• Previous experience in Video editing / Post-Production.
• Working on BA/BS degree in Film/TV Production, Marketing, or Liberal Arts preferred.
• Experience with Avid Media Composer, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of video, film, and audio production techniques and equipment
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
