The Sales Assistant will act as the liaison between the company's Account Executives and advertising agencies and TV and cable networks. Will be involved in all areas of the sales phase, including establishing rapport with networks, agencies, and their contacts. The assistant is primarily responsible for order entry, traffic coordination and client follow-up to ensure smooth execution of airtime sales. This position allows a candidate to learn about both Direct Response and National Advertising for network cable and syndicated programming. We encourage internal promotions and anticipate that the right candidates will become Account Executives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidate will be highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills and attention to detail. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and be able to learn proprietary software for order entry (candidates will be expected to use Excel on a daily basis and have basic math skills.) College degree preferred. Media Industry experience a plus.
