Search for International/US Hispanic Sales Coordinator jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Purpose and Scope: As a Sales Coordinator, you will perform diverse administrative duties. You should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities. You will need to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments.
The coordinator will act as the liaison between Standards & Practices, Traffic, Operations, Production, In-house Sales Assistant's. The position will require involvement in all areas of the sales process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of TV traffic and scheduling systems
- Ensure contacts and other key information is kept up to date
- Liaison between US Hispanic stations S&P, agencies and WL Sales
- Liaison between station/networks who exclusively speak Spanish
- Maintain an S&P database including approved shows, not approved shows, reasons for rejection, agency notifications, etc.
- Prepare written materials as requested, i.e. memos, meeting agendas.
- Attend Sales and Accounting meetings to take notes as requested.
- Contact customers regarding overdue accounts, when accounting has exhausted all measures, to determine reasons for non-payment and to coordinate payment
- Maintain accurate records, call and email logs
- Ensure traffic deadlines are met and chip in when needed in order to meet the deadlines
- Establish rapport with agency contacts
- Step in on assistant duties when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Must be fluent in written and oral Spanish
- Grace under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response and quick turnaround.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
- Exceptional planning, time management and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company.
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
