Job Description:
Workshop Creative, a motion picture/broadcast/digital entertainment advertising agency, is looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of IT/Operations Assistant. The primary responsibility of this role will serve as an assistant to the Director of Operations in technical day to day tasks. While no formal IT or tech support experience is required, the ideal candidate would have a genuine interest and familiarity with computers, software, basic networking, and other hardware.
A strong familiarity with MacOS is required.
A basic understanding of post-production workflows and knowledge of Adobe Premiere is required.
A technical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot a varied range of problems in a clear manner is essential.
The ideal candidate would have an enthusiasm for solving IT and other technical related problems and would have an interest in tech and its ability to help improve the workflows within a creative post production environment. There is lots of room for growth and upward mobility. If ''Google is your friend'' and you find fulfillment in the process of identifying and solving technical problems, you would be a good fit for this role.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in learning the ''nuts and bolts'' of the creative post production process.
Roles and responsibilities:
-Support and troubleshooting of Adobe apps and other apps used in post production editing workflows
-Support to editors and staff with technical issues
-Organization and maintenance of IT hardware and software
-Assembly of edit bay workstations and required components (computer, AV hardware, etc)
-Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
-managing media (compressing/converting media to proper formats)
-Identify and solve IT related gaps in workflows
Requirements:
-Strong enthusiasm and understanding for IT/ Tech
-A technical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot a varied range of problems in a clear manner
-Experience and familiarity with macOS and Adobe creative suite
-Strong organizational and communication skills
