Working Title Films and Working Title TV, the company behind many of your favorite films and TV shows (YESTERDAY, BABY DRIVER, LES MISERABLES, FARGO, MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS, TALES OF THE CITY, THE CASE AGAINST ADNAN SYED, and the recently released EMMA) is looking for the best and brightest applicants for our Summer 2020 internship.
Working Title offers an engaging internship with meaningful preparation for future careers in the industry. This is a great opportunity for interns to read and evaluate material in a relaxed environment with hands-on experience in the development and production process.
Interns will work directly with assistants and executives in learning the ropes of feature film and television development, including but not limited to:
-Reading scripts, books, and other materials and providing executives with coverage
-Executive assistant duties including covering phones, running errands, office administration and expenses
-Company-wide research on various projects
-Compiling lists for executives
Candidates must be enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate institution, and we look for students who are outgoing, hard-working, personable, and strong in their ability to read and evaluate material. This is an unpaid internship, however we offer college credit and pay for lunch, daily. Our office is located on the Universal Studios lot.
Big opportunity to read scripts and write coverage in a relaxed environment where you can have your opinions heard. You also have the chance to practice and learn the essential day to day operations of our business. This includes: running the phones, going on runs to other agencies, studios, and production companies, and covering desks when needed. As the office is small in size, the interns get a true hands-on experience in the development process at one of the most respected production companies in the business.
