Background
We are a full gospel, Bible based, Pentecostal Christian ministry located in La Mesa, California (a suburb of San Diego) with an international outreach. We are part of a vibrant network of churches and the founding church of a growing international network of church plants. We have a media ministry that we are expanding into a 24/7 television channel.
This position reports directly to Pastoral Leadership.
We are looking for someone with a background in cinematography, video production, programming, and/or digital marketing. Technology savvy with certificates in computer or network technology is a plus.

Most Importantly: A person who can work well with teams or individually, and is open to brainstorming and discussing new ideas. A person who isn't afraid to engage in all aspects of media production and distribution.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all multi-platform creative and design (including but not limited to, on-air promotion, graphics, social media content, etc.) to drive audience engagement and awareness.
• Manage and evolve the creative style. Maintain the integrity of the ministry, its name, reputation and quality.
• Ensure the highest quality standards, policies and procedures.
• Working in conjunction with Social/Digital media, supervise the development and execution of appropriate social media campaigns to drive engagement of ministry content on all platforms.
• Evolve the media ministry by taking creative risks, nurturing disruptive ideas, and producing break-out creative for marketing.
• Empower, motivate, and manage a high-performing creative team.
• Be a creative visionary with the ability to inspire new thinking and energize teams to think beyond.
• Establish a road map for on-going innovation and creative experimentation in marketing and engagement.
• Understand and connect with Millennials and Gen Z creatively. Always be open and express ideas to bring to viewers and reach more people.
• Liaise with all aspects of the ministry to ensure their support.
Basic Qualifications
• Training in ministry, marketing, business, cinematography, and/or video production with a love for people and the media arts.
• Significant experience - ideally at a network or streaming service - overseeing the development of compelling, brand appropriate on-air and off-air creative.
• A track record building and maintaining a dynamic and well-known consumer brand.
• Experience with or deep understanding of social media content creation and storytelling.
• Demonstrated excellence in conceptual creative, design and graphics.
• Significant professional experience in a leadership position overseeing a dynamic creative team.
• A proven leader who collaborates, motivates, inspires and drives innovative creative thinking.
• Ability to understand changing market dynamics and translate insights into breakthrough creative.
• Experience managing a team that produces and delivers a high-volume of creative assets, on time and on budget.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Experience managing creative and/or marketing budgets.
• The drive and ability to lead change within an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
*Proficient in graphics design and video editing
Knowledge of, and proficiency with, the Adobe Creative Suite.
Specifically, Adobe Photoshop, After Affects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere is a must.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
