WOR NewsTalk Radio 710HD is looking for freelance writers who will contribute to topics such as politics, entertainment, food, sports, health or technology. We're hoping to provide a skilled writer an alternative to writing their own blog. If you consider yourself an experienced blogger, we're looking promote your work while you provide us with interesting, compelling and original content for the WOR reader. Freelance writers will be responsible for writing timely features or blog posts that offer readers a local voice.

Ideal candidates:
Large consumer of news and opinion
Excellent written communication skills
Passionate about writing
Implement SEO best practices
Maintain an active social media presence to promote the content you produce

Qualifications:
Very strong writing skills
Experience in reporting, feature writing, and/or blogging
Organized multi-tasker
Solid understanding of SEO

Compensation:
$1.25 per thousand page views. Writers must generate 50,000 pageviews to become eligible for compensation. Thereafter, writers will receive payment once per month. Payments will be withheld until writer is eligible for payment of a minimum of 100,000 pageviews.
