Job Description:
The Sr. Product Editorial Manager will be responsible for content merchandising, programming schedules, community engagement, and metadata optimization across Wondery's platforms (Wondery app, FAST channels) and third-party platforms like YouTube. This role will help shape the customer experience and drive content discovery, growth, and engagement. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure a cohesive editorial strategy. The job can be based in either Culver City, CA, or New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute editorial vision and content strategy for Wondery’s apps, YouTube channels, and other platforms to drive growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
• Lead day-to-day editorial operations for Wondery's YouTube channels in collaboration with content production, marketing, and digital operations teams.
• Implement platform-specific best practices, ensuring brand safety, copyright compliance, and optimization of new platform features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain content calendars.
• Develop strategies for community engagement and explore new content formats, such as shorts and stories.
• Optimize content metadata for search, recommendations, and playlists.
• Drive SEO strategies, using effective keywords and targets to increase traffic.
• Partner with the product team to improve user experience across all platforms.
• Monitor and analyze performance reports for Wondery's first and third-party distribution channels.
• Address content policy issues like ContentID and ad suitability, while providing training and documentation for teams.
• Support special event-based content curation aligned with business and brand initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting results to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data analysis, charts, and pivot tables.
• Direct experience managing successful YouTube channels or similar community-driven platforms with a focus on content SEO.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven track record of leading content initiatives that drive growth and engagement.
• Experience managing high-performing editorial teams.
• Strong time management skills, capable of managing projects from ideation to execution.

Compensation:
The base salary ranges from $112,800 to $186,500 per year, depending on geographic location and relevant experience. Additional compensation includes equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
