WONDERY is seeking a self-motivated Product & Marketing Analyst to join the nascent Los Angeles Product & Data team. Reporting to the Director of Analytics & Digital Media, you will work cross-functionally across teams to deliver insights, define KPIs, design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests, and help operationalize systems that can help our rapidly-growing company scale. Ideally you are a podcast listener and are excited by the opportunity to use your analytical skill set to help define a new media business that is quickly evolving and maturing.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders across departments to understand what KPIs are important, implement tracking, and develop processes for exchanging feedback
Work with the Marketing, Product, Sales, AdOps, Finance, and Content teams to ensure metrics are appropriately defined, implemented and tested across systems and assets
Design, build and maintain key periodic reports, dashboards and analyses utilizing SQL, web analytics, and other data sources
Develop best practices and approaches to answer ad hoc questions about listener behavior, customer journeys, advertising performance, marketing attribution and more
Assist various testing, optimization efforts, and special initiatives by performing in-depth and ad-hoc analysis of information from multiple data sources (web analytics data, marketing data, subscription data, and external data) to assist data-informed decision making at all levels
Prepare and present reports, analysis and presentations to various stakeholders including executives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or technical field (Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)
2+ years' experience as an Analyst and with business reporting
Proficient in SQL
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Periscope, Looker, Plot.ly)
Working familiarity with object or event oriented programming (Python, JavaScript, R)
Experience with web and mobile analytics solutions (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
Experience with tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM, Tealium, Segment)
Strong familiarity with statistical concepts
Strong communicator with the ability to understand and interact with varying audiences and stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
A self-starter, able to excel in a fast-paced work environment
