Job summary
Wondery is hiring a producer for the New Shows team. You will play a key role in helping launch new shows and series in our growing always on slate, such as Even the Rich and Against the Odds, and develop new series from soup to nuts.
We are looking for a candidate who loves character-driven audio storytelling and understands how to convey complex information in a dramatic, accurate, and emotionally engaging way. You will work closely with the new shows team and external editors, hosts and sound designers to help produce a variety of story-based shows from kids content to fact-based single and dual voice multi-episode narratives. This role requires both a familiarity with long form narrative writing and structure, as well as hands on production experience in project organization, tracking schedules, and delivering on deadlines. You thrive in a fast paced creative environment and are self-directed but also enjoy collaboration and working with teams.
This role is flexible to be in either Los Angeles, CA and New York City, NY.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with EPs, Senior Producers and Production Team to launch new series
• Provide feedback on outlines, scripts, and mixes.
