Job Title: Head of International Content

Wondery, a renowned podcast studio behind hit shows like Dr. Death, British Scandal, and Business Wars, is seeking a Head of International Content to support its global content production efforts. You will collaborate with the Chief Content Officer in the US and oversee podcast content development across key regions such as the UK, Germany, Mexico, and Brazil, with potential expansion to new territories.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, produce, and launch shows as part of a global programming strategy aimed at increasing listenership and revenue.
• Manage production timelines and ensure content aligns with region-specific programming strategies.
• Oversee regional content development and production teams, guiding their slates of original podcasts and localizations of Wondery shows.
• Liaise with commercial teams within Wondery and Amazon to ensure content strategies align with broader business goals.
• Build relationships with podcast creators and third-party producers in major markets.
• Provide creative and business guidance for new and existing content.

Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in audio storytelling, film/television, or documentary development and production.
• Proven ability to lead large global teams and facilitate group meetings.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Avid podcast listener with a passion for audio storytelling.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Interest in global podcast listening and media trends.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree (BA, MFA, or equivalent).
• Strong relationships with podcast creators and producers.
• Experience in regional podcast listening and global media trends.
• Multi-lingual skills are highly valued but not required.

Compensation:
The base salary ranges from $129,200/year to $276,400/year based on geographic location and experience.
