WONDERY is looking for a Director of Brand & B2B Marketing to join the rapidly growing marketing department in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, you will be a driver of Wondery's brand creative and story development, as well as the growth of our brand awareness. You must be a podcast fanatic.
The ideal candidate will bring energy and passion to everything they do and be comfortable in a startup environment. Will have at least 12 years experience in a fast paced, high velocity environment with experience in creative direction, copywriting, digital marketing, audio marketing, events, social media and data insights and be able to meld it all into a powerful and visually compelling powerpoint deck.
Responsibilities:
Drive Wondery's brand message to B2B and B2C audiences
Lead the development of clear, concise, accurate and sophisticated presentations
Work with brand partnerships to brainstorm and execute custom programs and RFPS for advertisers
Act as liaison between Content and Brand Partnerships teams on sales developed custom content and event executions
Collaborate with brand partnerships and executive teams to develop our external story
Manage all aspects of our external events from presentation and asset delivery to events and logistics
Own budget management around our sponsorship of industry events
Oversee production timelines and deadlines, and create them where needed
Keep abreast of podcast industry news, and emerging trends in audio marketing
Support the team as subject matter expert in an area of our marketing disciplines
Help us continue to innovate and develop marketing growth hacks
Requirements:
Passion for Podcasts and audio storytelling
Demonstrated understanding of audio apps and a willingness to learn audio-specific performance tracking
Comfort with ambiguity; a track record of responding quickly to opportunities.
Ability to drive consensus among key industry stakeholders
Established track record as a flawless project manager
Strong verbal and written abilities
Strong creative sensibilities and ability to lead creative development
Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to make informed decisions based on data
Experience with a studio, entertainment or brand management company
Positive self-starter attitude
Superior Powerpoint skills are a must
Prior experience in podcast marketing is a huge plus
Photoshop experience is a plus
PR or branding experience is a plus
