What You'll Do:
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and sports-savvy Social Media Manager to lead social strategies and campaigns for our brand clients in the sports industry. This role will oversee the day-to-day management of social channels, develop and execute social-first content plans, and ensure alignment with each client's marketing and sponsorship objectives. The ideal candidate lives and breathes sports culture, understands fan behavior, and can translate brand stories into dynamic, engaging social content that drives measurable results.
The ideal candidate is a professional, fast-moving and strategic thinker with knowledge of social media, and the ability to collaborate across the agency.
Client Management & Strategy
• Serve as the primary social media contact for assigned sports brand clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Partner with clients to define KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion, fan growth) and deliver regular reporting with actionable recommendations.
Content Development & Execution
• Collaborate with creative teams, designers, editors, and photographers/videographers to produce high-quality assets that resonate with audiences.
• Maintain each client's brand voice while ensuring authenticity in sports storytelling.
• Manage posting schedules, live event coverage, and real-time engagement during activations
Campaign Activations
• Work closely with sponsorship and partnership teams to amplify sports marketing initiatives across social channels.
• Plan and execute campaigns tied to partnerships, endorsements, product launches, and event sponsorships.
Analytics & Optimization
• Monitor performance using platform analytics and social listening tools to assess content effectiveness and fan sentiment
• Use data to inform content iterations, campaign adjustments, and new creative ideas.
• Stay on top of platform changes, media trends, and fan engagement best practices.
Collaboration & Internal Communication
• Partner with internal teams in PR, partnerships, creative, and strategy to ensure cohesive execution across all activations.
• Contribute to pitch decks and case studies for prospective sports brand clients.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience managing brand social media accounts, with a strong focus on sports marketing or sports-adjacent industries.
• Deep understanding of sports culture, live event dynamics, athlete influence, and fan engagement behavior.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
• Strong writing and copywriting skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with both clients and internal teams.
• Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative thinker with a passion for sports, entertainment, pop culture, and storytelling.
Preferred Skills

Work Environment:
This role requires in-office attendance with some remote flexibility. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary for special events, client engagements, or urgent content pushes.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$71,250 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$95,000 annually
