WME — Senior Graphic Designer, Social Media (Sports Brand Clients) — Requisition: JR27214
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Reports To: VP, Digital Marketing
Role Overview
Create bold, on-brand visual content that connects sports brands with their audiences across digital platforms. Lead junior designers and collaborate with social managers, copywriters, and external partners to deliver high-quality, social-first design.
Design & Production
• Design high-quality static images for social platforms
• Build templates, toolkits, and graphic systems to scale campaigns
• Develop original concepts, layouts, and approaches for digital-first environments
• Apply advanced typography, color theory, and layout principles
• Optimize assets for platform-specific requirements
Creative Strategy
• Translate briefs and campaign strategies into compelling visuals
• Contribute ideas in brainstorms; bring innovative concepts
• Adapt designs for multiple audiences while maintaining brand consistency
• Track social/design trends relevant to sports and brand audiences
Collaboration & Leadership
• Partner with social managers and copywriters for integrated campaigns
• Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers/freelancers
• Serve as a key design point-of-contact; present concepts and synthesize feedback
• Collaborate with external creators (photographers, illustrators) as needed
Project Management
• Manage multiple projects, balancing priorities and deadlines
• Maintain organized files and asset libraries
• Deliver work on time and within specifications
Brand & Industry Knowledge
• Maintain deep understanding of each client’s brand identity and guidelines
• Identify opportunities to evolve visual identity systems
• Track competitor creative and best practices; inform strategy and improvements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Strong portfolio showcasing static social content (ideally for sports brands/athletes)
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills; familiarity with Figma, Canva, Asana, Monday.com
• Excellent communication/presentation; strong organization and multitasking
• Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices; passion for sports, entertainment, and storytelling
