Overview:
The Manager, Ticketing position will assist in the management of all ticketing operations including daily operations of the Box Office and the execution of ticket product launches. Responsibilities include building and maintaining the team's Tickets.com ticketing environment, supervising part-time staff members and interns, assisting box office personnel in daily tasks, and providing customer service to fans. The Manager, Ticketing will also be responsible for overseeing season ticket renewals, and will assist with inbound ticket sales.
Job Functions:
• Ticket Sales Administration
Own the operational execution of ticket product launches, coordinating timelines and club-level deliverables.
• Ticket Operations
Lead Tickets.com ticketing system administration, including event setup, product builds, inventory holds, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
• Box Office Staff Management
Manage, train, and schedule part-time and seasonal Box Office staff to support daily operations, ticket sales, and customer service.
• Inbound Sales & Service
Assist with inbound ticket sales and customer service across channels, ensuring timely resolution of customer needs while maximizing sales opportunities.
• Customer Service Communications (Iterable)
Execute targeted customer service and ticketing communications through Iterable, coordinating audiences, messaging and timing.
• CRM Administration (Attio)
Provide club-level Attio administration support, ensuring preparedness and adoption for campaign launches.
• Ticket Reporting
Assist with recurring ticket sales, revenue, and attendance reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to all our fans.
• Assist in the development of an effective and efficient box office staff by providing appropriate supervision and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance and reporting of ticket scanners.
• Responsible for cash handling and box office controls.
• Perform ticket selling functions as needed.
• Assist with reporting needs, processing, etc. and ensure the proper use of the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ticketing issues promptly and professionally during events.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment, particularly in ticket sales in Minor League Baseball or professional sports.
• Previous experience with Tickets.com ticketing software is strongly preferred, particularly in an administrative capacity, such as a Box Office or Ticket Operations role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to think creatively, be self-motivated, and work in a fast-paced environment, with extended hours and irregular schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays during the season.
