Business Affairs Assistant
Seeking a qualified candidate to provide administrative/contract assistance for the Business Affairs team in support of our Literary Department. Experience in an in-house corporate legal department or transnational (as opposed to litigation) law firm is a plus, as is entertainment industry experience.
Responsibilities:
• Heavy contract administration
• Organization and tracking of incoming/outgoing material
• Maintain contract and logs
• Frequent communication with publishers, buyers, and clients
• Routing, copying, scanning and indexing documents
• Maintaining extensive deal files
• Manage and schedule calls and calendar
Qualifications:
• Detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Accountability
• Self-starter
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Professional phone demeanor
• Immediately available
• Interest in Entertainment Law a plus
• Computer Skills: Fluent with Microsoft Word, working knowledge of Excel, and work comfortably with databases
References: Strong references required
