Head of Video Production
You will lead our production team to light, shoot, and edit a variety of high quality short form digital content that appear on the company's YouTube channel. In addition to weekly videos, you will execute on branded content for various Fortune 500 companies- including Target, Google, HP, Glad and Disney. While you will hire in-house and freelance staff as needed, please note this role is not just for a production coordinator. You will often be 'hands on' in all facets of the creative process from pre to post-production.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the editorial department to create schedules, equipment lists, and production plans.
Light, shoot, edit, color correct and upload weekly videos. (C300 proficiency a MUST)
Capture clean audio with wireless lavalier and shotgun microphones.
Effectively provide direction to talent when needed.
Hire additional freelance production staff for branded content and bigger projects.
Qualifications
4+ years experience in production
Demonstrated experience running a set and guiding crew
Proficient in operating a Canon C300 camera
Have an excellent eye for frame composition and lighting.
Operating and mixing audio
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus).
Have strong, clear communicating skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Have a positive, patient demeanor and eager to work with families and children.
