Receptionist / Runner
Whalerock Industries is currently seeking a polished, and professional Receptionist/Runner. In this role, you will be the first point of contact at Whalerock Industries and will make a difference up at the front whether you’re providing important information to clients and guests in person or on the phone, or the first face everyone sees when they enter our space. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the receptionist/runner will be the go-to resource for all things related to our front lobby and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer front desk phones and greet guests
• Perform daily maintenance duties for the various office/kitchen areas, with special attention to Executive spaces
• Required to drive and go on runs for office supplies, lunches, etc. Ensure runs are completed accurately and efficiently and as quickly as possible
• Be very meticulous and organized with stocking, cleaning, and keeping shared areas clean, tidy, and spotless
• Manage the collection and distribution of all incoming mail, correspondence, periodicals and packages
• Support HR and Ops with new hire prep tasks, including paperwork and ordering building and parking cards
• Work with Office Manager to order and distribute office supplies and vendor orders; monitor, maintain, and stock food/beverage supply inventory, balancing both cost containment and employee needs/demands
• Keep all reception documents up to date including Reception Binder, New Hire paperwork, phone lists, etc.
• Perform morning prep and evening office wrap-up/lock-up duties
• Be able to move and lift items ( /- 25 lbs.)

Ideal Experience
• 1-2 years of work experience as a receptionist
• Previous entertainment experience strongly preferred
• A valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional follow through
• An ability to maintain composure, working quickly and efficiently under high-volume, high-demand conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional demeanor and appearance at all times
