The Social Media Director will work on a small digital team responsible for the management and creation of content for Red Table Talk, a women's lifestyle and empowerment brand.
Red Table Talk is brand that was born following the success of the TV show by the same name on Facebook Watch. This role will oversee social for the show and associated verticals by creating and maintaining an editorial and promotional calendar, and identifying opportunities for growth, sales, and engagement. This position will be heavily involved in all facets of strategy, community management, video production, e-commerce sales, and other digital initiatives.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for pop culture and reinventing brands for a social landscape. This position reports to the president of Red Table Talk Inc. and the Head of Social Media at Westbrook Studios.
Duties:
• Coordinate the development of digital and social marketing plans and materials
• Upload and distribute content including videos, photos, and graphics.
• Define long-term strategic goals and a roadmap of how to reach them.
• Encourage conversation and build community within social media pages.
• Strategize, develop, pitch and execute brand campaigns with clients and brand partners.
• Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and guidance for future
campaigns.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends
Skills & Experience:
• 6-10 years of social media management and/or content creation experience, preferably at a marketing/creative agency, talent management company, or other entertainment industry adjacent organization.
• Mastery of major social media platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tik Tok, Tumblr, Snapchat, Spotify, Apple Music, LinkedIn.
• Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills for social media. Must be able to provide samples of previous work.
• Must be a quick learner, able to take the reins on a project with limited guidance.
• Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh.
• Experience organizing and leading photo and video shoots.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Flexible schedule including ability (and eagerness) to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends
• Proficient in Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Docs
• Knowledge and interest in pop culture, especially the next-generation of influencers,
creators and other digital talent on Instagram and YouTube.

• Education: BA/BS college degree, preferably in an industry related field.
