This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The West Village Musical Theatre Festival is currently seeking interns for the Spring Semester. Interns will assist Executive Director and Artistic Director, as needed. Responsibilities may include:
• Managing database of WVMTF participants
• Website design
• Responding to production inquiries
• Distribution of creative material
• Event planning and hosting
• Updating social media sites
• Assisting with online advertising
• Front of house management
• Assisting the Technical Director
• Ushering
Interns will also need to be available the week of the festival (June 11-17) to assist with load-in, strike, dress rehearsal, tech rehearsal, etc.
Interns will be exposed firsthand to the producing aspect of New York City theater in a full Off-Broadway theater. With time, we encourage interns to take on additional responsibilities within the company.
The position will start as soon as possible. CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE JUNE 11-17. This is an unpaid position. Must be able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
