Summer Intern - Content Production Marketing Social

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The award-winning car customization brand, that catapulted to pop-culture status as the backdrop for the iconic television show ''Pimp My Ride'' on MTV, West Coast Customs, is seeking several Summer SOCIAL MEDIA | MARKETING | PRODUCTION INTERNS for 4 to 6 weeks, interning a minimum of 16 to 20 hours per week, starting the first week of July 2025. With several seasons of ''West Coast Customs'' currently streaming on Netflix, we are gearing up to move into production on our next TV project. This is an unpaid internship that can be worked for
academic college credit.

The intern types we are seeking are listed below along with requisite duties:
CONTENT CREATORS: assist with all West Coast Customs social media platforms while coordinating with in-house content manager (posting calendar) production (content deliverables) and content gathering. Involvement with content creatives and concept meetings from start through deliverable and post out stage.
MARKETING: assist marketing department with basic marketing functions - marketing databases; customer inquiries; WCC marketing decks, press releases and media data bases.  Some front desk customer service.
PRODUCTION: assist in-house production manager and content creator with basic editing. Some shooting may be required as needed.
These positions allow interns the opportunity to work with talent, brands, influencers, entertainment clients and sponsors; receive actual hands-on opportunities; and gain invaluable real-application experience in social media, marketing and production.

Depending on the internship you are applying for, West Coast Customs is seeking interns that:
-have knowledge of ALL social media platforms-have proven written communication skills
-are research savvy and familiar with identifying daily trends-are bright, energetic, self-starters, that are okay with specific direction
-are research savvy and able to work with spreadsheets updating or creating databases
-have great, outside of the box ideas
-are fast workers and able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
-are team players and mindful collaborators.

-live in the greater Los Angeles area
-have reliable transportation
-have your own laptop and cell phone
