Intern - Publicity

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Wenner Media is looking for interns to help support the Publicity Department of Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Us Weekly, RollingStone com and UsMagazine com. The interns will help with tracking media placements, drafting press releases and publicity reports, overseeing press mailings, assisting with events, maintaining media lists and other administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Internships are unpaid and credit is available but not required. Interns generally work two or three days each week, beginning in late August or early September.

The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, reliable and have a strong interest in working in the Public Relations field. Additionally, you should be an enthusiastic self-starter who possesses excellent organization, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Prior PR internship experience is preferred.
