Job description
Franklin, Tennessee based recording company Weirdo Workshop is seeking an ambitious and hard working student to join its small team in support of its flagship artists. We are seeking aspiring music marketers who are interested in social media marketing and or artist management to cover various creative and administrative duties supporting our rising stars, brands, and podcasts.
Applicants must be able to take direction well, serve as a team player, work well under pressure, and be technically well adapted. The prime candidate must be able to conceptualize and produce/edit new creative content such as carousel posts, reels, blog posts, and email blasts as well as upload content schedule in a timely manner. You may be asked to travel with the artist to local event locations and live shows that are in a close radius of Nashville from time to time. A resume of social media accounts and similar work may be asked for consideration.
Requirements
Report to the label management team and assigned Artist or Podcast to complete day-to-day tasks as required
Work with label management and artist to develop content calendars for social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube
Develop and create creative content ideas for photo and video shoots along with the accompanying social media post copy
Upload and schedule content to social media platforms based on the approved content calendar
Film and photo behind the scenes footage of artist related activities such as rehearsals and photoshoots as needed for archival and development purposes
Conduct project research as directed
Attend artist activities such as rehearsals, meetings, events, and workshops and own administrative and creative support as required
Arrive early to meetings and engagements to prepare artist workspace and environment as required
Handle load-in and setup of all project related items and equipment
Run errands as required
Requirements
Punctual and able to act on tasks with a sense of urgency and integrity
Exercises great communication, professionalism, and confidentiality (NDA signature requirement.)
Able to commute and work from on laptop
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Resourceful and driven to find solutions with a no job to small attitude
A basic understanding of creative editing programs such as Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop
