Part Time Unpaid Internship
We The People is seeking Digital Marketing focused interns for the Summer 2021 semester. Interns will work alongside the WTP team, reporting directly to the Founder and administrative staff. Interns will be trained in a variety of types of digital marketing roles while they gain hands-on experience supporting the company's growing digital presence. Interns will provide administrative support, engage with and curate content for social media while helping maintain the team's marketing content calendar.
This opportunity is great for digital enthusiasts with a creative bent. This role will work 10 - 15 hours a week during the summer semester/quarter. There is no hard commitment in terms of hours or days - we look forward to working with your schedule and commitments, and we are open to candidates with diverse and unconventional backgrounds!
This internship has the opportunity to be 100% remote, though we will give preference to candidates based locally in the LA area if the candidate is interested in the potential for hands-on production experience. Students must receive school credit for their service, or have their work tied to a formal education program via integrated coursework. It is the student's responsibility to confirm that our program will meet their school's course requirements.
Provide digital marketing support through SEO & analytics implementation
General website support
Support the administrative team with managing social platforms (Instagram/ Youtube/Twitter/Tiktok/Snapchat)
Admin support with possibility for on-set experience
Basic digital marketing knowledge
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and prioritize
Takes initiative when given tasks to complete
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiastic about Social Media
Comfortable working with Google Drive, Dropbox, Canva, Squarespace, Slack
